A while ago a friend of mine, business partner of a real estate agency in Lucca (Remax Viva), asked me to help her with the sale of some properties making a photo shoot so to be used for paper and on-line publicity.
Last Wednesday I performed the first part of the service: 200 meters above sea level in the Lucca province we can find Aquilea. It is a small community laid on the side of a hill and here is where I found the wonderful rural building I had to photograph: a wide real estate of 300 m2 placed there about 400 years ago, developed in parallel with the mountain side, two stories all made of stone and wood with a breath-taking view.
The hospitality of the owner and her cordiality made my job extremely easy and pleasant: as usual we took care of the interior design and décor to express the best of every room in the pictures, being careful not to falsify the reality of the location.
In this occasion I used studio artificial lights, but as I often do when good inside illumination permits me, I used techniques that allowed me to intensify the naturalness of the inside and outside light.
I have to admit that it was not particularly difficult to exalt the warmth and class of that beautiful house majestic and well cared inside and outside: here a little bit of attention to details made the difference in the photographs and I could only be sorry to have photographed that part at the wrong time of the season since the wisteria was going to explode in a few months! I came home tired but satisfied with the work done, and with eyes full of greenery and beauty.
